Finishing Options

There are a number of options available for the finish of our handmade blacksmith items. When appropriate we have noted the finish used for each image on this site. Most of our products can be finished to your preference using any one of the following finishes.

Painted: we use zinc rich paint in a satin or gloss finish.

Galvanised: a permanently bonded tough coating for low maintenance protection.

Lacquered: a clear coating, allowing the natural metal to show through.

Bees Waxed: a natural eco finish. Can be left matt or burnished to a shine.

Chromed: for mirror finished low maintenance protection.

Engraved: to personalise your commission.
